These dark chocolate pistachio pralines are seriously addictive—you can't just have one!
If you love pistachios then this recipe will quickly become a new favourite. I’m not exaggerating when I say that these Dark Chocolate Pistachio Pralines are absolutely divine—they are hands down better than any store-bought pralines I’ve ever tried. The best part? They’re made with a handful of simple, wholesome ingredients with no processed junk in sight.
While they’re inspired by the decadent chocolate pralines you see in shops, I nixed all the stabilizers, processed sugars, corn syrup and emulsifiers found in the store-bought version. These are essentially made with only five main ingredients and Fit Mixes Chocolate Chia Protein Ball Mix for the chocolate layer. A soft pistachio cream serves as a base to a fluffy chocolate layer, then the whole thing gets drizzled in antioxidant-rich dark chocolate.

The chocolate mix seems to consist mainly of ground almonds, cacao powder and ground chia seeds (and some pea protein). How many grams is 1 package? If it were available locally, I might be temped to buy it – but shipping from the US the Europe is terribly overpriced….. So I´d like to recreate the mix myself.

Hi what can i substitute the protein powder for?
Petra ?
Zoe
It’s not protein powder, it’s a baking mix that I used to make the base. You’d have to make a different base altogether. You can omit the chocolate part and just coat the pistachio center and the pralines will still be very delicious.

Oh wow, these sound so tasty and they look so impressive!

Hi Julia,
Thank you so much for your lovely comment 🙂 Those pralines sound harder to make than they actually are. You should give them a go. x Zoe
